Denmark Township Wastewater Collection System

​Spicer Group designed a public sanitary sewer system consisting of approximately 12,500 feet of gravity sewer, 137 connections, two pump stations, and a two cell lagoon system (5 acres) that has the capacity to treat 36,000 gallons per day. Spicer Group performed a study, a preliminary engineering report, construction inspection, testing, administration, and assisted with an application to request a partial grant/loan from the USDA Rural Development program. The Village received nearly $994,000 in grant money from USDA for the $3.2 million project, with a low interest loan (4.5%) for the balance of the project over 40 years.
