Bangor Charter Township

Spicer Group was hired to help the Township update its Master Plan. The last plan was adopted in 2002. The purpose of this update was to provide the Township with a document that will determine the direction for the next 5-20 years. The goals chapter was a large focus for the plan, and the goals outlined areas of improvements, protection/preservation, and future changes. Specifically, the Township made a plan for a new mixed-use district at the existing mall and focused on corridor redevelopment/beautification. The plan also captured the retail market downturn within the business district and the highlights of the location on Saginaw Bay. Spicer will continue to work with the Township on an update to their zoning ordinance and riverfront park development.
