I-69 over CSRR

Spicer Group provided full-time construction inspection and material testing services to the Lansing TSC for the rehabilitation of I-69 over Charlotte Southern Railroad in Eaton County. This project impacted more than 36,000 daily commuters as the bridge rehabilitation project took place. The project included a complete superstructure replacement and installation of new box beams and bridge deck.  The project also involved substructure repairs, rocker bearing realignment, full painting, and steel repairs. The project extended the lifecycle of the bridge, which is situated over the Charlotte Southern Railroad, and took nearly two construction seasons to complete.
