Garfield Road Reconstruction

Spicer Group provided all survey work and design for this project that reconstructed more than half a mile of HMA roadway along Garfield Road from Midland Road to North Union Road in Auburn, MI. The road was widened from two lanes to three lanes and included new curb and gutter, driveway approaches and sidewalk, along with the installation of 3,225 feet of new 12-inch to 24-inch storm sewer. This project was part of the MDOT Local Agency Program. It was also funded with funds from Rural Task Force and the Surface Transportation Program.
