Todd Road

The Monroe County Road Commission, along with MDOT, was looking to improve the portion of Todd Road that crossed the Ann Arbor Railroad line in Monroe County between Douglas Road and Jackman Road. Spicer Group reviewed the project site, then designed improvements to upgrade the road crossing to a 55-mile-per-hour speed limit. This project included resurfacing the road, embankment improvements, shoulder improvements, drainage improvements, storm sewer improvements, permanent signing design and installation, pavement markings, and slope restoration. This project was funded through Rail Safety and Railroad funds, and bid out through the MDOT Local Agency Program process.
