Belsay Road Reconstruction

Spicer Group provided all the survey and design tasks for this project, which included reconstructing about one mile of concrete roadway and widening Belsay Road from Court Street to Davison Road in the City of Burton from four lanes to five lines. The work included new curb and gutter, new driveway approaches and sidewalk, along with 5,225 feet of new 12-inch to 24-inch storm sewer installed. With this project, the traffic signal at Court Street and Belsay Road was modernized and the new 9-inch concrete roadway has a design life expectancy of 30 years.
