US-23 Freeway Signing
Spicer Group was tasked with overseeing the US-23 Non-Freeway Sign Upgrading project in Iosco County, which involved field inventory of existing signs, designing new signage using SignCAD software, preparing cost estimates, and developing the bid and specification package. The project encompassed 124.5 miles of non-freeway sign upgrades within the MDOT Alpena TSC area, with Spicer Group responsible for the design of 10.7 miles. In addition, Spicer performed a thorough QA/QC review on Wade Trim’s design for the remaining 113.8 miles of non-freeway signage, ensuring quality and consistency across the entire project.
