North Carolina Telecom Project

Spicer Group collected 360-degree LiDAR data and imagery for a 16-mile aerial make-ready telecom project. Additionally, 22 miles of planimetric mapping was completed from the LiDAR data and imagery including; road lines, driveways, utility pedestals, culverts, power poles and all overhead lines.

The mobile LiDAR acquisition was completed in one day with the processing of all data completed the next day. Final CAD deliverables for all 38 miles were delivered to the client within 10 days of data collection. The entire LiDAR and imagery dataset was provided to the client in a free viewer which allowed them access to the imagery and LiDAR data, including basic linear measurement capabilities.
