Richland Park Restroom

Richland Park is 48-acres of recreational space that includes a play structure, walking path, multi-purpose fields, and concession and restroom facility.

Spicer Group assisted Richland Township in securing multiple grants for Park Improvements. As a part of this project, the Township wanted to update the park restrooms and make them ADA accessible and more user-friendly. Spicer Group redesigned the restrooms to address the needed changes.

The redesign included a new entry slab with zero transition height difference, new entry doors with ADA accommodations, a new interior bathroom layout, both men’s and women’s restrooms, with ADA space and turn-around areas, new ADA, friendly sinks, and ADA-friendly partitions. Spicer Group was responsible for grant administration, engineerig design, construction administration and survey work for this project. Other improvements included a walking path around the perimeter of the park, parking lot improvements, shuffleboard renovations, a disc golf course, and fitness stations.

Richland Township was also awarded an $84,500 Land and Water Conservation Fund grant to fund the improvements.
