Bay County Pinconning Park Improvements

Spicer Group was hired by Bay County to create the designs for major improvements of the county park. The project was awarded a DNR Trust Fund Grant for $404,000 to fund the improvements. Spicer Group also assisted in obtaining and managing administration work for this grant throughout the project. The renovations made to the park included new barrier-free nature trails, new barrier free boardwalks, and new barrier free fishing piers. There were also improvements made to the cabins and campsites for handicapped accessibility which included concrete pads, signage, beds, tables, and picnic tables. There was also playground equipment that was designed and installed, as well as a better beach area accessibility point which allowed better entryway onto the beach.
