Owosso Emerson Elementary IAQ Improvements

Spicer Group was hired by Owosso Public Schools to provide design services for air conditioning improvements at their Bryant, Central, and Emerson Elementary Schools. Owosso Public Schools had been researching adding air conditioning to their facilities and with newly available funding through stimulus and other sources, the district was able to work with Spicer Group to proceed with the development of bidding documents for the project. The systems did not include the recent building additions that have new air conditioning systems in place but did require upgraded electrical services from Consumers Energy for each of the buildings. Spicer Group provided HVAC fresh air calculations and load calculations, HVAC capacities, building evaluations, HVAC demolition plans, and construction administration for this project.
