Wildwood Lake Dam

Wildwood Lake is formed by a 305-foot-long dam that was built in 1961. Township residents were concerned the dam was not functioning properly and that it posed various hazards to those living downstream. The Wildwood Lake Property Owners Association sought the services of Spicer Group to provide an inspection of the existing dam and identify improvement recommendations.

Spicer Group identified that there were some major deficiencies which needed to be corrected along with improved access to the dam and its control features. The outlet and inlet structure needed to be reconstructed as well.

The improvement plans were broken down into separate tasks which allowed the successful completion of the project while minimizing the risk of flooding for residents surrounding the lake and those downstream of the outlet.
