Greenfield Street Water Main Replacement

Spicer Group was hired by Carrollton Township to design improvements to the Township’s water distribution system along Greenfield Street. These improvements strengthened the water supply from the City of Saginaw to create a loop in the area west of I-675 and eliminate an old and deteriorating meter building that was in desperate need of either repair or abandonment. Eliminating the Greenfield Meter Building also resulted in a reduction of the fees from the City of Saginaw due to the elimination of the metering facility.

This project replaced 900 linear feet of 8-inch water main in the Township-owned system. Spicer Group was hired by the Township to provide professional engineering services to design the improvements, bidding assistance, permitting, and construction administration.
