Lake Lansing North Nature Trail

Lake Lansing Park North nature trail spans 1.3 miles through woodland and wetland terrain within the 410-acre park. The park itself sits off East Lake Drive in Haslett within Ingham County. The County wanted to make improvements to the trail in order to make it more universally accessible, allowing it to be used by everyone. The project included replacing the boardwalk and reconstructing the pathway so that it included a new compacted limestone surface. Additional amenities were fitness stations, interpretive signage, mile markers along the pathway and benches. Spicer Group did grant administration and engineering design work for this project which also received a LWCF grant as well for $500,000.
