DeWitt Area Recreation Planning

Spicer Group worked with DeWitt Township, the City of DeWitt, and the DeWitt Area Recreation Authority in updating its five-year comprehensive recreation plan. This area operates with a Recreation Authority which capitalizes on sharing recreational resources. The DeWitt Area Recreation Plan focused on open houses, stakeholder discussions, and an online survey to garner the citizens’ opinions.

 The DeWitt Area has a wide variety of recreational opportunities including parks located on rivers, parks located on lakes, multi-use paths, and children’s playscapes.
