Grand Blanc Fire Station No. 2 Remodel

The Grand Blanc Township Fire Department provides fire and rescue services for the Charter Township of Grand Blanc. Currently, the department consists of 44 part-time and full-time firefighters that work in various levels of the fire department. Spicer Group is currently designing an addition and renovations to Fire Station No. 2 to accommodate living quarters for 4 full-time staff to reside at the station. Plans include renovating existing portions of the station to make accommodations for female firefighters, providing a much-needed decontamination area, improvements to the climate control of the apparatus bay, and remedies to a severe ice damming issue at the station. Plans are completed and the project will begin construction Spring 2023.
