MDOT As-Needed Construction and Inspection

Since 1999, Spicer Group has been providing as-needed construction inspection for the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). Projects have varied in size and scope and included everything from inspecting multi-million-dollar bridge construction and highway reconstruction to intelligent sign installation along highways and construction of sound-barrier walls. This work is very demanding and often requires long days, working weekends and night shifts. Staff have to keep close track of the projects to ensure contractors are following proper procedures and completing all tasks according to plans and specification. Due to dedicated and well-qualified staff, MDOT continues to count on Spicer Group to provide these services on their projects.
