Fashion Square Boulevard Extension

A decade after the original idea was formed, the Kochville Township Downtown Development Authority (DDA) began moving forward with the process of extending Fashion Square Boulevard north a quarter of a mile between Loeffler Lane and Kochville Road in Kochville Township.

Spicer Group was hired by the township DDA to provide professional services with the development of the proposed roadway. This included preparing maps and conceptual plans for the projected right of way and existing property information, preparing easement documentation, and preparing preliminary cost estimates for the proposed roadway. Throughout the process, Spicer facilitated meetings with area property owners, stakeholders, and DDA representatives while assisting in securing easements with property owners.

Once a path was in place for the roadway, Spicer’s engineers designed a new four-lane street with curb and gutter, ornamental lighting, sidewalks, drainage, and a landscaped boulevard. In addition, a gateway sign, stamped crosswalks, water main, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer lines were also designed and extended with the project in the right-of-way. Spicer Group provided construction administration and inspection on the project.
