Asset Management

For decades, Spicer Group has assisted clients in designing, constructing and maintaining infrastructure throughout their communities. This infrastructure includes items that provide vital services like water, sewer, and electricity. To continue to provide these services efficiently and economically, we assist our clients in developing Asset Management Plans.

An asset management plan is a formal, tactical procedure that is used to manage infrastructure assets to deliver a certain standard of service. They include five core components: an inventory and condition assessment of the assets; a determination of the level of service the community would like to provide; a determination of the criticality of the asset; a revenue structure; and a capital improvement project plan. The asset management plan process can be applied to any community-owned assets, such as sanitary sewer, water distribution, pavement, buildings, vehicle fleets, etc.

Our diverse and professional team of in-house engineers, surveyors, and planners can all assist with developing any level of asset management plan needed to help maintain and improve our client’s infrastructures. Our team has the certifications and qualifications to develop plans for anything from storm sewers, a fleet of vehicles, or a community’s parks. Each of the plans are individually tailored to a community’s needs and developed to meet current state and federal guidelines.
